well I built him a rustler out a spare parts last night thinking that the i10mt might be an ok deal as he couldn't buy a vxl brushless, nimh battery , and the cheapest 2.4ghz rx/tx for the price then...

well thanks guys i guess that seals the deal. Go stampede 4x4 or go home. I just don't know if hes gonna want to spend that much coin, I know he wants it to be waterproof so it'd probably be cheaper...

So my wife has a rustler vxl and I have the Stampede 4X4vxl but my buddy wants to get into rc and build a track at his house probably I just want him to get into rc the right way with quality stuff...

I had the hieght issue just the other day. I simply cut a 1/8'' slice out of the rear battery wall and then ran the battery wires thtough their and out the slice in the other wall on the drivers side...

I just ran it with the 23/90 gearing and it sounds so much better. I doesn't reach peak rpm in 15feet like it did before it pulls strong for a good 75ft if I can keep my throttle on hard with out...

i'm running a 7700 mamba system though so I'm trying to find a sweet spot that i have a feelin that doesn't exist. I'm really thinking I need a 5700 motor not the 7700 I have.

There pretty high. I didn't know what I know now when I bought that setup I really wish I had a 5700, Its super fast but the temps with the lipo are pretty high and I need to check them but I'd say...

just ordered a cheap 8000mah 20C 2S battery from venom and a duratrax ice charger so I'll be set up on the cheap for sure but the math says that will put down 240amps peak so I should be good for the...

wheelies and the rustler aren't a problem. If it rolls it will flip over and drive again. Trust me I have a beat up three year old rusty with a new mamba 7700kv brushless setup with very good 4600mah...
