RE: New Hitec Aurora 9-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System

Cool looking radio with nice features.
Spektrum will be forced to up their game and come up with a DX9 or DX10 :)

Frankly the JR radios have started looking older next to Futaba's radios.

RE: Howto - Dual to Single aileron conversion

Thanks Zeeb.
What I have noticed is that many of the 50cc or even the 75cc planes designed for single aileron servos don't have the servo in the exact middle of the aileron.
It is more towards...

Howto - Dual to Single aileron conversion

I have a Lanier Edge 540 87" that was set up originally to accept 2 aileron servos.
I am planning to go with a single HD Power 9150 (222 oz/sq in) servo.

Which is a better location to run a...

RE: The new Lanier Edge 87"

I measured the location of the 2 aileron servo locations and compared them to an EF Yak 88".
The location of the servo on the EF Yak is about 1.5" away (towards the wing tip) when compared to the...

RE: Evolution 58GX2 prop question

I believe that you can use the ZDZ drill jig.

I am swinging a Xoar 24x8 at 6700RPM on the 4th gallon. Haven't tried the Xoar 24x10.

This is on a custom BCM pitts muffler.

RE: DA-85 or DA-100

A DA-100 sounds quieter on stock mufflers than a DA-85 on a pitts muffler.

RE: Evolution 58GX2

RE: Biggest plane and smallest car

I just confirmed that the front passenger seat folds in the Matrix too. I will go and measure the length but this car seems like a great giant scale carrier :)

Did you have to remove the horizontal stabilizers and stick the tail all the way through between the front seats ?

Biggest plane and smallest car

Hey guys,
I am thinking of getting a small hatcback like a Toyota Matrix or Jetta wagon.
Anyone have any experience with big planes in these cars. Can a 75/85cc class plane like the H9 SU-26MM...

RE: Evolution 58gx2

How much heavier is the 58GX2 than the other 50cc motors such as the DA-50 or Area 51.
I don't mean the published weight but the actual weight (Engine + ignition) if someone has them.

RE: DL 100 - New Twin on the Block!!

If sound or noise was the sole criteria, a DA-100 on stock mufflers sounds much quieter (and nicer...might I say) than a DA-85 on stock muffler.
Of course this becomes quite a moot point if you are...
