The new brushless setup works great! The water cooling doesn't seem to be working at all (I can't see any water coming out of the exit hole) but it doesn't need it... the motor was just barely warm...

This is my first post here. I have a Kyosho RC Surfer that I drowned in salt water a few years ago and destroyed the electronics in it. Now I want to rebuild it better, faster, stronger....
