Selling my DFvTi with many extras!!!

Hi!

I haven't been on in awhile, and circumstances have caused me to have to sell my Draganflyer Vti. It's not a Pro, but does have the Pro cross-bracing. It includes an Eyecam standard with 2...

RE: Transmitter Neck Straps

Sky, That's an extra. You can pick one up on eBay for$10 or less. I think DFI sells them too.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

I don't think it would be too difficult.

I really don't have the time right now though. I'll be in France most of July, and preparing to go most of June.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

It should be, but you're not using the servo control pin, you're just using 5v and ground. Yes, servo Y cables should be available wherever r/c aircraft are sold, like this one for example.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

Come to think of it, Sky, all you need is a standard servo Y adapter to wire the lights to your existing harness.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

Concausa, There are no servos on the DF Vti (not the standard one anyway). But the aux connector is to add them.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

It would actually be eassier to just splice the chaser wires into the existing adapter/wires you already have. That's one of the reasons I kept it without a connector. You'd certainly have to us it...

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

I'll take some pics of the unit sitting on the bottom of my DF to give you an idea. I should be able to make a wiring harness like that. I would have to order a few more connectors from Spectro. Does...

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

Sorry that's the only one I have assembled, and it's in an auction right now. Maybe the next one I put together.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

Thanks, Sky. I don't see why 2 stacked wouldn't work just fine, as long as you were careful not to short anything. I took me only a couple of hours on the circuit. The board layout took a few days....

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

Sorry. Spectrosolutions sells the connector and pins that mate to the aux connector on the DF circuit board. I could add one to the board for plug & play operation. I didn't add a connector on this...

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

A connector could be added to plug directly into the aux connector on the underside of the DF Vti circuit board.

RE: Draganflyer Navigation Lighting Systems

I'm glad I got to see that round circuit board! I created my own CMOS flasher circuit, and had round circuit boards fabricated. The boards came square, and I had to use my Rotozip and Dremel tools...

RE: Spectrolutions Now Has All Our Frame Parts

Sounds like all my orders will go to Spectro from now on. The shipping from DFI is painful.

RE: What kind of PROPELER SCREWS do you use?

Nickruss,

The biggest reason to NOT use the nylon screws is inflight failure, like av8ersteve mentioned. If a screw shears off inflight, the is no method of recovery...you're coming down hard....

Portable DVR?

Does anyone have any experience with the Mustek PVR-H140? It's very portable and will record A/V in MPEG4 format at 640x480 30fps. Here's the link: Mustek PVR-H140

I bought one to use with a...

RE: My new hot Outdoorvideo!

Targit, I think Sky is right. I know the DF is supposed to have HH on yaw, but mine ALWAYS drifts. When I had a Futaba GY401 on my old Eco 8, the tail didn't move unless you told it to...now that's...

RE: Level comment for all units/ White balance for SAVS comment

Down and to the left, when arming, is to arm a non-pro DF Vti without ti enabled. down and to the right calibrates autoland. They also recommend that you hold the rudder all the way to one side (I...
