RE: GP Ultimate Bipe 40

I officially cut up the cowl and fiberglassed it back so it looks somewhat decent. I will take some pic's of it when it is done but so far so good.

RE: U-22 Turbo-Jet engine?

I don't mean to re-hash too much but I have to say to all of you ney-sayers your wrong. The U22 can run, the one I have was built by my late professor in 1966 and it ran the same year. There are...

RE: Best fuel tubing for 30%

Get some Hayes clunk line from Ricks. It is black and cut it about a 1/4 inch shorter than needed, it lengthens a bit after use.

RE: os37 temp?

RE: os37 temp?

Evan you can't even compare water cooled engines to air cooled r/c engines. The fuel to air ratio is different, no oil present in the fuel. High CHT in autos are preferred so they can pass...

RE: Raptor 30 fuel

Horse is right about nitro being an oxidizer. It's chemical formula is CH3NO2, so it adds two oxygen molecules to party inside your cylinder. More nitro will not cool your engine, but when you add...

RE: raptor 30 v2 rpm unstable

Sounds that maybe the engine is going lean but that doesn't explain why when you land and spool it down and then re-fly it solves the problem. Do you have a header tank on this?

RE: OS .32 piston

My 32sx heli engine has the same groove, I wondered what it was for too. Mine is really tight too, as a matter of fact it actually locks on TDC. It is loosening up some but it is still in break in...

RE: USAF Aggressor Sqdn Paint Nmbrs?

Mike, I don't know the exact colors but here are all the FS colors and their numbers. http://www.fed-std-595.com/FS-595-Paint-Spec.html Might be able to kind of "guess-timate" a color because the...

RE: what version raptor is this?

That is definitely a V1, the 2 screws in the blade grips make the head a V1. The feathering shaft is smaller on the V1 than the V2 so make sure if you put different dampners in you use V1 or they...

RE: OS BioEthanol engine!!!

Ethanol is less than $.82 a gallon here in Nebraska, that is direct from the plant. Now granted you can't buy it that cheap or from the plant. That is what big oil pays for it. Ethanol will never...

RE: OS BioEthanol engine!!!

Coming from a state that is close to the largest producer of ethanol, I have to say this is a JOKE. Ethanol is not a fix or such, and there is no way you will get better economy. Ethanol produces...

RE: Can old glow fuel still be used?

Kmot, how's the Ram doing? Keeping a close eye on this I want to see what comes about your old fuel. What engine are you going to run it in? Do you think it will matter in a 4 or 2 cycle?

RE: can I mix 5 min with 30 min?

LMAO Flea, I am so glad I wasn't the only one that did that. I put the bondo hardner in with my resin, and made one heck of a red gooey mess. Thankfully it somewhat peeled off and just after about...
