alright, ill start leaning it out 1/4 turn at a time until i can accelerate to appropriate speed (up to prolly about half throttle) and then when i need to go faster then ill lean it a little more

gerwen, im not saying that lowering it is stupid, im saying that it completely ruins the point of it being a monster truck
I just don't see the point of a monster truck being less than 1/4 inch off...

anybody agree with me that if your truck is within an inch and a half of the ground, you have to race with the onroad touring cars?
when you watch real monster trucks race on tv, they're not 6...

i did loosen the glow plug
and when we idled through a tank it was louder than the 4.1 at 1/4 throttle :)

i just ordered 2 pullstarts and a backplate

i think its more me than the pullstarters, i need to get used to them and what i can and can't do
i only personally broke one, as i puled it too far out

what do i need to convert my pullstart sts 28 to a roto start?

well since my sts 28 shut itself right off, im guessing that the hsn and lsn were a little rich, but i looked at the lsn and it is sticking waaaay out

so should the head of the screw be flush w/...

small spur= top end
large spur= torque

but when changing teeth, you'll notice a bigger difference one tooth makes on the pinion, compared to 1 tooth on...

oh, if you can't get fuel through the lines than blow into (VERY SOFTLY) the overflow tube that connects to the cap of the gas tank
and yeah, back out the glowplug because it allows the piston to...

yeah........ be VERY CAREFUL
my roto sh*tted on me after it didn't even start to spin the motor
but i broke a starter shaft by using a drill that was too powerful
i'd recomend calling hpi and...

sugots, please don't ask the same Q in multiple threads...but here's what i wrote in the other one
1)they should roll very slowly, otherwise turn the idle....and it's shutting off because the hsn...
