Try some fine cut polishing compound on it. The 3M works good for me. You should be able to get a nice gloss if you have already hit it with 1500.

I use the US Compsites resin for making tooling. Well that along with a tooling surface coat. I use West systems and System 2000 for the actual part layups. Yes there is a difference.

Go to Hancock Fabrics and ask for "Flag Material". The peel ply that I have gotten from the composites companies is polyester peel ply. The "Flag Material" is the same thing. They sell it by the yard...

Well if it is a Castle controller then it would have been the HV110 rated at 12S lipo and 110A. Chris is correct. Steve did not actually say that his motor was used. Most everyone already suspected...

It is probably due to two reasons. Covering the intakes increases the hype and speculation. If it is just a proof of concept build then he would not want people to see another manufacturers fan...

High power EDF are about the same price as a single Wren 44 turbine engine. These two EDF's would be just about the same price as a Jet Joe turbine but they are 90mm diameter fan units. Around...

Most of the internal redesign for Wren 44 is now complete. Will be making a new set of molds to add a turbine access hatch on the top and eliminate the motor access on the bottom...

The 40-3p "opto" means that the RX power is isolated from the main power pack. You will need a seperate RX battery or a UBEC.
