Rebuilding a ~2011 Inferno (VE?) - need a little help

Years ago I bought a electric Inferno to goof around with... a pure basher for sure.
I think it is a VE or is very similar, it has a silver Orion motor with cooling fins and a decent Kyosho Syncro...

Futaba 3PV tx binding with Kyosho KR-200 rx

I have a ~5-6 year old Inferno buggy with Kyosho's KR-201 tx and KR-200 rx, it all works fine but I want a transmitter that has a multiple model memory.
I'm wondering if the 3PV is known to bind...

Wraith alternative?

I'm looking for a "more metal" alternative to the Wraith, any suggestions?

Basically, I want a durable backyard basher, trail runner and all-around steep/rough terrain vehicle that has a bit of...

RE: Inferno VE?? Recommend an electric buggy

Thank you much for all of that info.

I studied it, and still went with the Inferno VE Race. I also bought 4x 5000mha 2s GensAce 40c lipos.
For ~$635 I bought the car, lipos (4s 40c), several...

Inferno VE?? Recommend an electric buggy

I've run nitro's in the past and want to try a electric 1/8th scale.
I'm thinking about buying a Inferno VE to mess around with in the neighborhood, no racing at this point.
Is the VE with a...

Another virus blocked

Really? I come back here after a year or so of reading mostly at the "other" forum and instantly get attacked by some 3rd party crap coming from sukw.info.
I look around a bit more and find it is...

RE: Another

Thanks.
I'm mostly going to bash with it at first...
I'm also capable of starting with a pure nitro kit and buying a conversion kit and everything else.
Just not sure what to buy? What is...

Another "what should I buy" thread (1/8 scale e-buggy)

I've owned several 1/8 scale buggies over the years, and they all are a PITA (but fun) with those testy little glow motors. With the starter boxes, fuel mess, tuning, clutches, checking temps...

RE: Best 3D airplane for 2200 mha 3S

Heli motor? Wont that be a very high kv motor? (in the 3-4000kv range?)
You'll want to stay in the 800 to 1000kv range no matter what motor you use on either plane.
Do you have 2 motors in that...

RE: Best 3D airplane for 2200 mha 3S

I just noticed what motor your planning to use on the Velox...
The 2818 and a 3s pack is going to be too light and you'll have to add lead to the nose...

At first, I built my Velox with a...

RE: Massively confused

Bummer...
I have a little 22m-1000 that I cant seem to kill.
Its been a great little motor (got it used) and it has hundreds of flights on it.

RE: Massively confused

It wouldn't surprise me at all if that Rimfire can handle 190watts constant.

I think it will be just fine on a 20-30oz park sport-type park flyer.
Trucker, it looks like a good combo there.

RE: Best 3D airplane for 2200 mha 3S

Check out the 3dhs SHP.
It has a huge following, they say it is very forgiving and predictable.
3d, precision, it can do it all.

I'll throw my vote in for the 3dhs Velox too.
It's tame and...

RE: Mini Pulse Conversion

The number one reason I pulled the 15 from the Extra is because of the super-small tank (2oz - intended for a .074). To install a larger tank would require either a new $20 Jett bubbless that fit...

RE: Mini Pulse Conversion

Well... considering what you already have, and the fact that you can build... the answer seems clear.
It looks like your Pulse should get the 480 and use your existing lipo's, and the .10 could be...

I have a Herr Extra, flew it a couple of times with a .15LA.. flew pretty well.
But overall, I didnt care much for the whole set-up for a variety of several small issues.

RE: HELP - My Prop Adapter is Stuck On!!!

I assume your talking about the collet adapter that goes onto the bare shaft, the one that squeazes down on the shaft when you tighten the prop nut, right? (Since its the EF Yak, its the type you...

RE: 49" QQ Yak-Hacker A30-12L Help

I really dont know...

I did get a bad TP 2070 recently... flew fine for the first 5 or 6 cycles, then it became almost worthless.
It never really died fast, it just got lazy after a minute...

RE: 49" QQ Yak-Hacker A30-12L Help

Are you flying for a minute or so at full throttle, and then it has so-so power after that?

RE: 49" QQ Yak-Hacker A30-12L Help

Yea, I'd say your pack is not up to par, or your hammering on it too much.
Was the pack hot?

3000mha seems too big for a 3cell in the plane, it will weigh as much as a 2500 4cell, but it wont...

RE: 49" QQ Yak-Hacker A30-12L Help

What prop are you using and was your pack warm/hot at the end of the flight?
How long was your flight?
What battery are you using?

RE: Help wire my first electric

Ah yea... use the truck's battery. Here's why..

RE: Best Foam 3D Plane

Honestly, I dont know... I've never run a high Kv motor and 2cell packs.
It looks like roughly the same specs as the Dualsky combo for the R3D.
