I have a twinstar, slightly modified, enlarged control surfaces (including rudder) extended nacelles, etc.

Both engines still have about the same amount of out-thrust as in the original version....

I suggest a hobbico twinstar. I have had 2 with .25 engines. It is a great twin to start with, and its an inexpensive ARF.

Tower has them for $119

Complete except for engines and radio.

Good point on 10-cells and overheating. I want more performance, but I do not want to burn up a speed controller, a new battery pack, or something else, I am not ready to go that far out...
