RE: 3-axis Gyro for Airplanes???

The easiest solution to your question is to install "2" GYA351 Futaba Gyro's, 1 for the elevators and 1 on the rudder. Leave the ailerons typical. I see all these comments about doing this and most...

RE: Just Griping...

Is there a useful point to this thread? I mean, is any of this going to help somebody to better understand things about our hobby, or to be a better builder, or more informed? I think not. JMO

RE: Just Griping...

I don't know. I've had a few ARF's, RTC, RTF planes, and every one I had I'd have built it better, finished it out better, probably flown better. The way I see it anyway. Buy kits guys, God bless...

RE: Advice on laying up laminate panels

RE: Advice on laying up laminate panels

Copied from above posting: I think my problem is the air layer between the last sheet of release film and the wet epoxy. I think rolling this flat is creating the pocket appearance in the panel. I...

Advice on laying up laminate panels

I"ve been making flat laminated panels for a while with Texalium, Carbon cloth and Hybrid materials. I usually laminate the materials to a wood backing like balsa or lite ply. Occasionally I will...

RE: Which 100cc Cardin to purchase

Here's a 330 mid wing in 40%. Dennis makes this modification very easy. You basically build the 330 with a 260 motorbox. Plane fly's like its on rails and rolls are very axial, similiar to the Yak or...

RE: please show me some pics of your tuned pipe tunnel!

Tunnels are pretty much a thing of the past. There not needed. I have tunneled in most of the installations on Cardens, MTW 110's, Greeve's and RE3's and have come to find its not necessary. There's...

Balsa USA Gold is what I use most, especially the kicker. It doesn't popcorn the adhesive like other brands if your using kicker with medium or thin. I think the Bob Smith CA's in thin may be a bit...

RE: Dual Gyro install YAK 54

If this is something your really going to do you may be better off going with the GYA351 gyro's from Futaba. These are designed to do what your asking in a fixed wing plane. They are limited to 4.8...
