Hey guys, sorry I have to make this one quick, but I don't have much time to write at the moment.

I was hoping somebody could point out where I can buy a 6 or 7 cell Emolis battery pack, and a...

RE: Number of Li-poly cycles?

we already ARE using them, In fact, it is what I have decided to use in my future swift. They are cheaper than equivalent li-pos, charge faster, and are virtually indestructible...

RE: Number of Li-poly cycles?

You know what??

That is a really good idea.... And a 3 cell pack at 3-4000 mah should only be what? $70-$120? I may save a little money doing it that way, AND I could use each 3 cell pack in...

Yeah, I guess I'm just gonna have to go for it, and get a pack or two of evo batteries. I am looking at these http://www.heli-world.com/detail.aspx?ID=4218

Any battery that costs $240 or so...

RE: Number of Li-poly cycles?

Yeah, I would agree that they are a great value for smaller electric models, as they will lighten your plane a ton while still giving longer runtimes.

However, I am looking to buy a century...

Number of Li-poly cycles?

How many cycles (charge and discharge) can a single lipoly pack go through before it doesn't work anymore?

I hear it is far less than a nicad or nimh pack, but have ever gottne an actual number....

RE: BLADE CP BELT CONVERSION HELP

okay, your only real question in my opinion, is wondering whether it is worth it or not, and even that is up to you. If you would like a heli the size of a BCP that is more stable, and more 3d...

RE: What a difference 15 minutes worth of tuning makes! (BCP)

the gain isn't all that important..... I mean, it is, but you don't know exactly where to set it, unlike the propo. Too much gain, and the tail will wag, making it harder to fly, too little gain,...

RE: New Blade CP Idea

You think if i got a gy240, it would hold the tail almost as solid as a larger bird?

If I did that, I would have to get the belt driven tail, and If I did that, I would have to get the DX6, and...

RE: Which micro heli would you choose?

The SE is probably the simplest to build, and the best flier out of those choices. All of them are similar, but as the SE comes with more aluminum parts, it is stronger and more crash resistant.

RE: Custom made Blade parts

ALUMINUM BLADE GRIPS!!!

and if possible, a stronger main shaft, that won't bend when the heli crashes.

there is a full CNC aluminum set for the Blade/Honeybee series though... just so you...

RE: BLADE CP CANOPY/T-REX CANOPY

hehe, that would look crazy. The BCP canopy is like half as big as the T-rex canopy. you could do it, but I will bet you that you will like the BCP canopy on the BCP more than the trex canopy

RE: New Blade CP Idea

Well I have thought about that, and since we would only be moving the boom back less than 2 inches, I would wager that we can just move the battery a little farther forward to balance it again. A...

RE: New Blade CP Idea

lol, i guess so, but even then, it may help make it even smoother if the tail were just an inch longer. smoother flight, longer run times....
I think it would be cool to try it at least:)

RE: New Blade CP Idea

well, the way I see it is that all your 3d flying is going to be at pretty slow speeds, sure there are times when you get it going faster, like in a death spiral, or a funnel, but at those times, the...

RE: BLADE CP HELP... MY HELI IS OUT OF CONTROL AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO :(

OK first of all, do you have a manual? I know it's used, but hopefully the owner included the manual. If so, READ IT! It has everything you need to know inside it.

The first thing I would check...

lol, then you just might be in luck, because all you should need is one piece of CF rod that is the same diameter as the old one, only a little longer. CF rod isn't very expensive........

just...

New Blade CP Idea

So you all know that having a tail motor isn't the best and that the tail can be twitchy, the motors burn out, and doing aerobatics, it can hunt and wag around and overall not have much authority.

RE: What a difference 15 minutes worth of tuning makes! (BCP)

it sounds like you may...

RE: What a difference 15 minutes worth of tuning makes! (BCP)

first of all: Helicopters are inherently unstable. PERIOD! We use technology to make them more stable (gyros, comp. radios)

the Blade cp does not have a real Heading Hold gyro or a computer...
