Raptor 90SE Headspeed problems

Hi...

I've noticed that since I crashed my 90 it doesn't feel the same as it used to.

Whenever I fly the chopper doesn't seem to keep a constant headspeed and my GV-1 only reads 86% instead...

Hi David,

One or two things could be affecting you as far as I know..
The most obvious is your throttle curve, is it relatively diagonal?

The other thing could be because of a governor,...

Hi Flipper..Your paintjob looks great.

For the blue one did you use a decal and then do an auto clearcoat on top?

I've got an old pic of my 90 next to my cali 30.

There's not a huge size diff between a 30 & 50 so it'll give you an idea.

USMC..Generally the 12 tooth pinion is used for F3C and not 3d as it will slow down the engine revs therefore the noise too. The 11 tooth is used for 3d.

I found that on my 90 the 401 worked well. I need to upgrade now because I want to do fast backward flying and I found the 401 couldn't handle it

I have a caliber 30 and 90SE. They're both great choppers. I would not criticise either make.

For the price the caliber seems the obvious choice to me anyway. They fly similar and performance...

I've had great experiences with my caliber 30..the only problem I had was parts support.
My Raptor 90SE has had no probs and I know a lot of people who fly the 50 at my club. Its a good heli too.

I'd say it weighs about 4.8Kg. As standard without the CF landing skids it'll weigh about 4.9Kg
