RE: 2300 or 2000

Thank you, that is what I needed to know. I called it a 2000 because of what was on side of case.

2300 or 2000

I have a Funtana 90 with a 2300 Super Tigre engine on it. Would a Super Tigre 2000 (is stamped to be a 25 cc) be a better engine for this plane?

G-26

The problem is the engine dies at mid range. It will idle and run full speed but dies when coming from idle to mid. It will speed up from idle to mid but then speeds up on it's own then dies. There...

RE: ASP 160 FS Twin questions

Mine is the OS 160 just about the same thing. I use 10% nitro with 80-20 synthetic-castor fuel. I don't use a on-board glow, the engine runs great without one. I have lost a cylinder in flight once...

RE: OS gemeni 120 connecting rods

Ok I give up, I have looked on the bottom of my 160 and yes there is a flat surface behind the carb. but no numbers. Is this engine good bad or what-ever?

60-90 carbs

I read on the post ST CARBS that 2000 and 2500 used 60-90 carbs.
Will the 60-90 carb work on the 2300?

RE: Sig Giant Kadet Senior ARF

All Kadets fly great. The 56 four stroke will work good, if you want to go bigger not a problem either. I have a 90 four stroke on mine, doesn't need the power but no substitute for horse power.
I...

RE: 0% nitro fuel

I was replying to Longden. Since the origional question was about 0% nitor and then went to about mixing your own fuel, nobody stated that it had to be castor only fuel. So I just suggested instead...

RE: 0% nitro fuel

Don't use castor, use Klotz Techniplate. It is 80% synthetic and 20% castor. This is what Wildcat fuel uses.

RE: Supertigre 2300

Yes I got a Twist 150 with a ST-2300. It is a good combo for me. It does 3D great, then I'm not the greatest 3D flyer.
I broke in the engine on 10% wildcat but then started mixing my own fuel...

I guess I have the pump carb., the low end adjustment is blue.
