slash tire question

has anyone tried the proline wheel/tire combo for the slash? $80 for wheel/tires seems like a lot for a truck that costs $200. they do look good but are they worth it?

im running a vxl setup in the slash. the thing absolutely moves with a 7.4 battery. it is a little tough to control, it isnt made for speed runs, but it does look cool. im running the stock tires...

they really seem to be two completely different trucks. on you tube there is a video comparing the size and the slash looks huge, more of a 1/8 scale. the losi looks like a st with a different body...

did associated change the plastic in the rc8 or did they only package the service pack with the rollers? i was reading the reviews on the 8 and at the beginning they werent very good citing fragile...

the engine doesnt fire. glow plugs are fine. i believe that its a fuel delivery problem, i dont get any nitro spitting when im trying to turn it over. i switched lines, i even used my savage tank...

glow plug is brand new and working good. i have a feeling that something is off in the carb, could it be possible that my needles and setting are so far off that it isnt turning over? mechanically...

i broke the connecting rod and saw some damage to the piston. i switched the parts and it looks like it is all set. i go to start it up and it wont turn over. it seems like it isnt creating enough...
