I'm still building a 450 Pro and will get to the 500 next. I cannot believe the size difference between the two! The 500 is HUGE! :)

I read that about the nose weight. I'm usually cautious about making something permanent...like adding weight...until I know it is balanced.

I'm still thinking of not adding a motor setup but instead fly it with wind/lift power. I suppose I better get a high start.

I saw this also on eBay. I think it was going for $125.00? Don't remember seeing a manufacturers ID on it. Not sure as I looked at a gazillion ads. :)

FHHuber.....The cost of nitro is something I do understand as all of my airplanes are nitro. Besides the cost of nitro I have contemplated getting into sailplanes "electric or launch" to curb the use...

I did check out the power packages at NorthEeast Sailplane's website. I am assuming that a setup with the planetary gears will offer better performance...
