lst adjustments

finally got my lst (used one) to run, but as soon as i let off the gas it nose dives, how can i adjuust the brakes they will only come on when i apply them like with my other trucks...and when or...

just treied to start my sons xp and it is real hard to pull, rope broke while trying to get it to start first time, so just to check a thought i pulled the glow plug and turned flywheel by hand,wnt...
