I finally managed to maiden my new Viperjet today, after spending far too long completing the installation. However, it was well worth the wait, as the plane flew beautifully. I have followed much of...

This is how I did mine. The fixing bolts were fouling the edge of the frame so I filed a couple of grooves to provide clearance. I'm using a Hitec HS-645 for the steering, and Savox 1256 on all the...

Air Tank Location

Looking at photos from earlier in the thread, it looks like JL have recently started supplying a larger air tank that won't fit transversely under the inlet ducting. The only location that I can find...

Best kit manufaturer??? Opinions welcome.

I would recommend the kits by Glens Models www.glensmodels.com I have built a Sig Somethin' Extra, and the accuracy with which the Glens 58" Extra 330 goes together beats the SE hands down.

supersportster

I have an SS20 with an Irvine 25 engine. It is quite fast, and verticals are good. The aileron throws in the manual are a bit tame for my taste, but overall, the plane is a good flyer.

Take your...

Flair Puppeteer

Be careful if you decide to add tri stock, as the tank is a tight fit into this box above the bearers. I wouldn't worry too much about using PVA instead of epoxy, it should be plenty strong enough. ...

I have just bought an H9 Aresti, and was wondering about engine choice. Having searched the forum for threads on this plane, most people seem to be using a 46FX or a Saito 72. I have got an OS70FSII,...

Glow Plug For Irvine .53?

I would agree with the OS 8 recommendation. I have used a Fox gold plug in my 53 too, and it ran fine. I currently have an Enya No3 in my Irvine 40, and it is running very nicely too, so this would...
