RE: Skymaster F14 Tomcat

Great! How elaborate will the function of the "advanced" wing be? Will the flaps be segmented like on the real aircraft so that the two outboard maneuvering flaps deflect in combination with slats...

RE: Skymaster F14 Tomcat

Hi Anton,

Looks great! Will the wings have functional full-span segmented flaps, slats, and spoilers for additional roll control and lift? Will the backend of the fuselage have speedbrakes?

RE: [Deleted]

LOL That's good though! This is going to be a big jet, and really, if everything else failed, at least you could probably roll and loop yourself back to the ground and still have the parts to reuse...

RE: [Deleted]

I'm curious...is there more to the internal horizontal stab construction and hardware than just the titanium rod shown? Is that line I see on one of the pictures dictating where a pin of sorts went...

RE: [Deleted]

Awesome job! Can't wait to see it done...i'm sure you feel the same even more so.

Considering that the horizontal stab is a bit of a critical piece, I actually love the fact that it is...

RE: 1/8th scale B-1B

I think most people understand the difference between "donations" and "investing" in a true commercial sense. That's not the point here. To use another more appropriate word, people were...

RE: 1/8th scale B-1B

Good point. I donated and would have preferred to see it given to a museum or Dyess AFB for tax deduction...even if it was just the shell. All that hard work and history just thrown in the dumpster...

RE: 1/8th scale B-1B

Yes...please don't just trash it. Donate it to a museum or Dyess AFB. I'd even take it and find a home for it if nobody wants it. It would make a great lobby piece. PM me before you start hacking.
