I'd stick with teh Revo 3.3. I found it at hobbypeople.com for only 470. At the local hobby store of ours its at 560. thats nearly 100 saved. Ive seen this thing do stuff that would make your eyes...

plus if you go for a revo or 2.5 and decide to upgrade to an OS .18TM you'd spend an extra $100 instead of just getting a revo 3.3

I say go for the 3.3 its faster and tougher. sure your going to reckit but thats to be expected. I saw a newbie jump his close to 25 ft in the air and totally screw the landing. he ran over fipped...

Yea for racing I forgot to say go for the steel, but out in the boonies where I live there used to be a river so there are plenty of rocks around so I stay with the plastic. How hard is it to switch...

have you checked the traxxas site? they should have hop-up kits. the only thing I could recomend to keep stock is the plastic gears.

in the Revo you should keep the plastic gears if you were thinking about changing them to steel. If a rock gets up in there while your running only the gears will go, however, if you get the steel...
