Yes there is a conversion kit, yes you need it for a slide carb engine, and i think you need to drill a hole in the chassis to install it.

If your looking for rpm bulks try looking for ones that fit the T-maxx seeing as how E-maxx and T-maxx use the same parts from the chassis out.

Yeah I'm too cheap for an new motor or a rebuild so when it happens to me I just crack a beer have a smoke and by the time I'm done it's nitro fun time again.
