I have the Trinity and OMG that thing is loud. Anytime the truck is near and I want to accelerate my ears start to bleed. lol. I have to say though it makes good power.

No never use RED threadlocker, use the BLUE colored one, it is the medium strength. Thats what I use on every screw that is metal to metal.

Not stock. With Brushless and other mods I have read it can go 40. But for control...I don't know I haven't driven this boat that fast yet.

Like this or a beast like this. Both are great engines. Problem with the second would be glow plugs are twice the price of regular non turbo plugs. Or for a .12...this with a new header for side...

That is what I meant.:eek: I meant that for a lot of engines you can get them with the right carb, shaft,...But not all.

Any small block will pretty much fit. You just may need to get a new header or need to redo throttle servo slightly if slide carb.

Stock settings are WAY too rich. Start leaning the HSN first till it screams but still gives a nice trail of smoke, then the low speed so it will idle and have enough gas to get going. Here is a link...
