try putting a 1" by 1" trim tab (made from thin metal) bend it 90 degrees and double
stick it on the transome just behind and above the prop.this acts like a anti cavitation

there is a rule of thumb you can repair a polyester product with epoxy
but you cant repair or glass up epoxy products with polyester resins.
I do believe that jet is polyester but if you are not...
