LEDs are not voltage devices but current devices. They need the proper resister in series for the voltage they are connected to limit the current to the proper current (milliamps) or they will burn...

It is ultracoat standard colors. Oracover is the same I believe. Sorry don't know names but if you stick to those brands it is easy to match.

I think inverted will be almost impossible because of all the weight above the wing when inverted. It will tip too easy. They are so easy to balance right side up I don't even know why you would try.
