Series / parallel are entirely two different things. Series is performed to increase/get the voltage required by the load.

Parallel is the method to increase capacity of the aforementioned series...

Can't wait for the videos. I use a DX9 with no problems so far but I have always used a LiFe battery in all planes for the last 6 or 7 years.

LEDs are not voltage devices but current devices. They need the proper resister in series for the voltage they are connected to limit the current to the proper current (milliamps) or they will burn...

It is ultracoat standard colors. Oracover is the same I believe. Sorry don't know names but if you stick to those brands it is easy to match.

I think inverted will be almost impossible...

I think inverted will be almost impossible because of all the weight above the wing when inverted. It will tip too easy. They are so easy to balance right side up I don't even know why you would try.

Hook your batery up and do a discharge first - maybe for 15 to 30 minutes at 1 to 1.5 amps. Then try to charge it. I have had the same problem as you describe as some of the new batteries drift...
