RE: failsafe question

I would encourage full brake. Flipping your truck under intense braking is much better than freewheeling into an unsuspecting tree or child. Some people set their failsafes to only brake moderately,...

RE: trx 3.3 strange compresion symptoms

that was probably a bad idea... make some use to wd40 to make sure it doesn't rust.

and seal the engine anyway. even if there's no leak when it's cold, keep in mind that at operating temp the...

Two different THS pipes on towerhobbies?

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I'm looking into getting a THS pipe for my revo, and I noticed there are two different chrome THS pipes with about a 9 dollar price difference...

RE: What Fuel do you use

Traxxas 20% Top Fuel

Unfortunately it's all the little family owned hobby shop near me carries, but I have no complaints--it could be worse.

RE: Engine locked up

In your other thread you said that you could turn the flywheel with a screwdriver. I'm guessing you had the glow plug in and if you did it's normal for the flywheel to be hard to turn.

Take out...

RE: T-Maxx 3.3 or Jato 3.3?

A Jato might be fun for awhile, but once you get over the wheelies and speed it loses its luster pretty quick.

Of the two I would probably get a T-Maxx, but I agree that you would be much...

Attachments don't load in Opera 9.21

For some reason attachments don't load in Opera. I'm not sure if this is because of an incompatibility with the browser and RCU or if it's a plug-in problem on my end.

It works fine in Internet...

RE: have you ever over heated your brakes?

Have you tried the pen spring mod?

http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lane/brakes/nrevo-brakes.asp

I haven't tried it myself, but I'm sure it would help to keep the brakes cool.

RE: is their a way to tell an equal toe-in/out?

I just put my truck on a big piece of paper, then put a ruler against the wheels I'm adjusting and draw lines on the paper.

After that, you simply adjust until the lines are parallel (Or until...

RE: help revo 3.3

If you don't feel like dealing with it just exchange it for another one.

I haven't had any problems with mine.

RE: engine how long?

6-12 gallons is several years for most people.

With a 125cc tank (stock size on revo,) 6 gallons is about 182 tanks. The average time a tank of fuel lasts is 10-15 minutes... so, that's a lot of...

RE: Too lean, but not too hot... possible?

Anything is possible.

As long as everything is lubricated, it could stay at a normal temperature while running lean. That is part of the reason why people advise not to tune by temperature alone.

RE: OS .18tm or Picco .26 Max?

The O.S. is easier to tune and is possibly more reliable (depending on who you ask), but the Picco .26 has more power.

RE: revo 3.3 fat but no wheelie :(

More like do not post if you don't proofread your text. [:@]

I meant loose, wrote tight. And yes you could damage the transmission with a tight slipper clutch. I'll stand by that claim. The spur...

RE: Need advise ASAP. I Want to run.

Are you sure it isn't a differential making the noise? It's a possibility.

RE: revo 3.3 fat but no wheelie :(

If the slipper clutch is too loose it won't do wheelies. Be careful, though; if it's too tight you could damage the transmission.

EDIT: Fixed the word mixup...
