Thanks Cheech, so I'm guessing then that the Duratrax shocks are the best for the evader they just need work on the seals?

I kinda figured the aluminum would cause glitching with the 2PL so ya...

Alright up dates and a few more questions......

The Vader has aluminum front and rear shock towers, front bulkhead, front A-arms, motor heat sink and rear transmission brace and a metal gear...

I'm just curious in towers description it says the yellow springs are "stock" springs? Mine came with white, I don't get it.

Also no one recommends the green springs?

Is it the fact that the xxx-t is brushless that you think you can't race it? From what I've heard the XXX-t is a solid truck. If anything I'd get a different motor, maybe a different Esc and put it...

The link to the futaba servo I posted is a direct fit, you just take the servo arm off the stock one and put it on the new one.

Thanks for the reply cjg (like your website btw), does anyone make a better shock for the Vader Pro? Or will these stock ones be fine with the blue seals and the green springs?

Alright folks what brand shock oil does everyone recommend and 30/w should be fine for bashing right?

Also should I stick with the white springs that came with it or get some harder green ones?

The ceramic grease is intended for the transmission itself, thats kinda what I was asking:

what lubes or anything else am I missing

Sorry, should have clarified that. I'm not really rebuilding it, the gearbox just broke so I figured while I have it off and appart I might as well fix all the weak links.
