Oh man... a new 2.4GHz Walkera 22E with Lipo is only $99... I might just pick one of these up instead of trying to find a replacement 4in1 receiver for my current 22e (which is around $40 itself)

Broke after a crash, the ball stud went in smooth after drilling with a #40, with a #42 it goes in tight but good. Anyway I reinforced it and will test it soon :)

BTW... any tips for securing...

Any one have any tips on balancing? My 22e seems to be tail heavy and the battery is all the way forward.

Also any tips on reinforcing plastic parts? mine seem to break where I drilled to put...

Dont get a Walkera 22e / Eagle 50... very responsive quick and light... terrible for a beginner. I got one (Eagle 50), I spend most of my time fixing it. People say a Venom Night Ranger 3D is stable...

Well upon furthur inspection-> bent main shaft and flybar. So I had some free time so I straighten those out...

thanks for the tips I will try that! I will whoelheartedly agree that it helps with orientation! i cannot seem to control the heli when its ar away, its just too hard and I have to use...

Broke my first ball connector.... oh well time for spare parts! RCandME doesnt have em yet so if anybody needs metal screw in balls try 'hobbyguyrc' on ebay.

Got it to work with G3... set it up as a 4-channel with ppjoy since the 3D switch doesnt transmit over the cable and the PLT and PZT have no use, well I guess could have made the ma 3d switch.. oh...

I fixed mine, the transistor I used was slightly different NPN3904, so the emitter and collector were switched. Fixed em so they work now! About the PLT/PZT mine work, they are very jumpy though and...

Is the 10k resistor inline required? I read somehwere that the Tx already has this so its not necessary

Yup made sure everything is still movable. It FINALLY stopped raining so I went out back and tried to fly a bit :)

Almost had a stable hove a couple of inches off the ground.

Upon closer inspection of model I found out where that "play" in the flybar head came from.... the Main shaft should have 2 side bar going into the flybar connector, those are gone....

LOL, the VNR3D instrusctions are copied and pasted into my Exceed-RC Manual (it even says VNR3D in some of the pictures LOL). ...
