Cermark F-20 .60-.90size. Heres the "Do-Over."

www.cermark.com

It comes as an Arf. Red was the original Northrop prototype. I just didn't like it. Comes with a nice set of what appears to be Hobbico clone retracts, aluminum spinner. The rest...

Plans for transmitter tray

I make them for my friends here locally. Look really nice. Cost is around $15 from a Home Depot or similar. Maybe i should draw up some plans.

Maybe the best thing to do is take pictures and...

Engine MFG's Support Forum

One of your Moderators "Grnbrt" stated in a thread that those engine mfg's support forums should only be between the thread starter and Ms Cross or whoever. This being the case and since i was...

OS 1.08 Inverted.

*There is a picture of this thing on the "Photos" page. So far I think my theory is working. I have have never seen an inverted 2 stroke start,run-up or fly worth a darn.
* I did not want to hack...

Jett .90

Here is my current one, a DC F-20. Running a MVVS Q500 and a 9/7 prop. Keeps right up with the YS .45 and a couple of Jett .50's

Out at the field

Losing it? That is an understatement. This afternoon I put the back of my knuckle into a 12/8 while dialing it in here at the house. *&^%$ blood everywhere. Took a few stitches.
Funny thing is...

Poll: Are you using exponential or dual rates?

I may have missed it or it was not here but Expo and Dual Rates are as different as Rudder and Throttle. With Dual Rates, your stick movements are the same whether you are on rate one or two.

Jett .90

*I guess I'll start. I have one of these going in a Cermark F-20. I thought i would share what I have seen with these engines. They really do not fall into your normal .90 size catagory.
A couple...

Customizing P-51D ARF

Here is my Giant Scale Planes P-51 ARF. Stripped it down completely right out of the box. Rebuilt and recovered to a "flyable" condition.

A Good Warbird ARF

I have a few WM ARF's. Real good planes. That new Hangar 9 P-51 looks impressive. Put a Saito 1.20 or 1.08 up front and you'll have a real hauler.

Engine recommendations?

I am in the middle of the big Cermark F-20. had i gone with the F-16, I still would install a Jett .90 as I am in this. Anything less than a .90 will prove unsatisfactory.

Expo Vs Dual rates

"- or negative" in laymans terms means this. lets say you move the aileron stick to the right. With nothing on, the aileron moves right along with the movement of your stick.
* Now with lets say...

Hanger 9 Ultra Stick .40 as a second plane?

Great second plane but think ahead just a tad more to your '3rd" plane. Most want some sort of .40 size scale warbird or something thereof with a hot engine. Well if you can, buy that engine now and...

Anyone ever taken a smaller scale df plane and mounted a healthy prop engine up front. I was just thinking that Most of these ARF propjets are more of a sportscale design where as those df jets are...

OS91Fx air bubbles in needle valve fuel line

Harassment, that is a good one. I guess the hundreds of others who complain on the "identical" problem are also harassing. We have the right to tell the mfg's they have a bad product. The only way...

Not to get away from your problem but My St G90 and 3250 low ends were out around 4 turns before I got air through it. I don't think its fuel tubing.

World Models P-51D Mustang GS Miss America ARF

Well a ,91 is ridiculous. 1.60fx would be a good choice or a big Saito.

160 FX in a 1/4 Cap 232 with a Stock Muffler?

If your talking about a Hangar 9 or Sig. it will pull it fine. Personally I fell that is the bottom line. I have seen Moki 2.10, OS BGX and Saito 150/180. I have also seen the 1.60 fx pull that Big...

OS91Fx air bubbles in needle valve fuel line

What really bothers me is the lack of truth here. We need answers, not excuses. Over the last couple of years the 91 FX has taken a serious beating along with the ST3250.
* You take the entire OS...
