RE: Futaba MC 9100A ESC

How do you set up the brake with this ESC? I have the OS version, the programming box would only show 3 settings: slow, normal, and fast. It would not show any % but stops at fast (or slow if I push...

RE: Futaba 12z Great planes Pitts 1/3 Scale

I used the 4 aileron 2 flap option for my biplane, it works perfectly with 4 servos for ailerons connected directly to the receiver (no "Y"'s, splitters, matchboxes, blackmagics, etc) Tailerons in...

RE: futaba Wireless trainer system WTR-7 with a 9ZAP

Just plug the WR7 in the 12Z, power the radio up but don't allow it to transmit (throttle stick up or RF off after the Tx boots up) The WR7 will receive power from the Teacher radio, then turn on the...

RE: JR XG8 Flight modes?

I've been living in Asia since a couple of years, I guess I have to update RCU. Still playing with the radio, it seems that FM is only a switch you can assign to different functions (DR, Expo, Mixes,...

JR XG8 Flight modes?

I am a long time Futaba user. I currently fly a 14MZ, upgraded from a 12Z and I keep my old trusty 9Z as a backup. My wife just gave me JR XG8 for my birthday which I plan to use for DLG gliders.

RE: More 6008HS - Problem found!!!

It wasn't the Rx but the battery. It seems the 5 cell 1600 Mah NiMh pack cannot copy with the consumption of all six S9651 servos plus the S3305. Problem went away when I replaced it with a fresh...

RE: More 6008HS - Problem found!!!

Definitely very strange behavior:

* Two different receivers, same problems

* Only happens if the Tx is on, turning the Rx on without Tx signal or switching off the Tx will stop the servo...

RE: Futaba 18MZ ???

9Z WCII with Futaba TM-8 here. Flawless so far. I used Futaba 6106, 608 and 6008 Rx's, and now FrSky "clones". The only thing I can complain is the need to use a switch to change between 7 and 8...

RE: Telemetry in F3A

No mix, exp, or computer is an illusion considering the current schedules P11 and F11. There is no way to consistently and smoothly fly a plane through the wild range of maneuvers required.
