There is a company in England that will sell Saphion batteries to RC modelers. Their website is: http://www.e-flight.co.uk/
I have no idea why the local Valence Technologies representative failed...

I contacted the local representative of Valence Technologies and attempted to purchase some phosphate stabilized Saphion batteries but there is no way that the company is going to sell to the RC...
