changing the clutch spring does NOT give it more bottom end , it gives it more punch and for alot of people the buggy becomes to hard to drive... not only that harder clutch springs also means more...

i personally don't mind chepo servo's , the only drawback i think with these is that they are not really dependable , and noone that races likes to fry one halfway into the race while having the lead...

invest in some good quality allen drivers...they will keep you from stripping heads out...most often what i see with the cheaper drivers is that they tend to round off a bit , then they will start...

the tolerances have nothing to do with % nitro.. but they do however change with temperature of the engine.. since the piston is made from a different material then the sleeve wall they both expand...

The VG is a decent engine but it's by no means the same good quality as the RG used to be.. a better one that will outlive the VG...

i dissagree , for the $400 you pay for the hyper 8 pro you get a buggy that can hang quality wise and handling wise with the buggies that are far more expensive.

i go by big lots every now and then , they have the 100pc dremel attachment kits every now and then , i bought an entire kit last week that came with the tool + like 200 piece attachment for...

the hyper 8 seems to be more setup sensitive for each different track...and it's tad more nervous in handeling then the jammin becaues of it..

i only use the rubber polishing wheels and tips , they come in different grit.....you can sand and polish with these wheels...

i'll give you one tip though when you start sutting the sleeve do...

i run an S7 with ultra light aluminium shoes and 1.05 springs... it takes more revs to engage the clutch but that way it does give you more bottom end...but the bad thing is that it doesn't give you...

I personally don't think that the boost port is that effective however , after breaking this engine in ( this is a back-up , i normally run a Modded RB S7 ) it became a pretty good engine... fairly...

if you go with teh longer chassis order the longer enter drivelines aswell..that way you don't have to worry about the bones falling out of the cup when alot of flex occurs..

the venom is a &*(()* crap.. the motors are not strong enough to start a engine with a good pinch in it , and the box with the motors will wear out in about 8 races... my buddies burned a motor after...

roll the buggy straight against a straight wall , then use the wall to set your toein/toeout , it's not 100% dead on but close enough ;)

that's what i use...it can charge about anything including Pb batts..wich is a definate plus if you use the 7ah Pb in a bump box..

first of all that's called toe out. you can adjust it by increasing the distance between teh steering ballends.. HOWEVER you shouldn't set this by eye , you can't eyeball the toein/toeout setting by...

i don't use O.S plugs , i run Megatech Q series in my engines. the O.S plugs are a thread shorter then other plugs and should only be used in OS engines.. using OS plugs in a RB engine or similar all...

the 8 is a little more nervous on the track handeling wise then the 7 is, the heavier 7 makes it a little easier to drive.
