If you mean you want to drive the 9C from a joystick rather than it's own controls then sorry but that's not how buddy cords work. The joystick would need to produce an electronic signal like a buddy...

Receivers are either dual or single conversion. The crystal must match the receiver.

I suggest talking to your chosen club before deciding on Mode 1 or 2. I know several clubs in the Midlands and North that fly exclusively Mode 1. Mode 2 is certainly common in some areas but not all....

No that would be a very expensive mistake because the radio equipment sold in the US cannot legally be used in the UK. It's on completely the wrong frequency band.

Nice idea but unfortunately not really true. There is no validation at the level of individual transmitters.

It only checks that it's from a transmitter like yours i.e. any Futaba PCM Tx at all...

Your receivers will work with the 9C Tx which can be swiched into PPM mode.

As for PCM vs PPM I'm not getting into that. It has already been debated to death many times. Try a search.
