The drive i ordered just got here...It seams like a real nice well built drive,,,,I would like to know how you plan on hooking up the tilt and make it waterproof at the same time??

Marine grease is water resistant and has is anti corroding...I dont think your planing on leaving your boat in the saltwater..

Thankyou...The reason i wanted an electric pumps is ...I manage a marina and it is saltwater where ill be running it from time to time..If it is electric I can flush the engine in my fresh tank...

I am new and dont get me wrong,, im not disagreeing..but since that post i took it apart,,,culasss has bushing and so do both ruders..As far as the slop.. i did find the steering connector was...

ahh,, thx ron...i was looking at it and it has a space between the cutlas bearing and the transom is about a 1/8th inch...Wondering how
to seal shaft at transom///???
