I tried using an exhaust coupler from my local hobby shop, but it was too soft. It burned up in one run. The one that came with the boat went thru about 20 to 25 runs before it...

Are most of those boats running gas or nitro engines?? I don't know which engine makes the most speed. Those boats look really cool, I wish they were easier to build.

I haven't been run off yet, but I usually don't stay that long. I don't think they would give you any problems at the pond. There is nothing around it that would make it a nuisance to anybody.
