RE: Help! What 1/10 off-road kit?

I just plan on messing around. Mainly do high speed passes and tune the car for top end. I dont "bash" my car. It sounds too harsh :)

RE: Help! What 1/10 off-road kit?

From a T4 to a rustler? I dont think so lol. Usually people do the opposite ;)

RE: Team associated B44

Depends how you look at it. Now I'm just making assumptions now since it's not out and I didnt see it. Now It's definatly up there but IMO, it's not the top of the top . There's lots of competition...

RE: Team associated B44

All you can do is hope. But by the looks of it, it does look a little complex. I guess thats what you get when you want a nice semi-top end racer [:o]

RE: Powerful, large, high RPM brushless motors?

I would have to agree, it would be overkill for a TC3. You can reach 60-70mph in a much cheaper, and more effective way. These motors belong in the big 1/8 MT's.

RE: Is there somthin out there for me???

Team associated B4 is a good choice. It's a good racer and basher if you ever get bored of racing it. Reasonable priced too.

RE: Best Electric Drifting Car?

Not much choices. You can forget FM if you want servos with that. A good futaba 2pl 2 channel AM would do the job for you.

RE: Micro T

Pros: Compact and can be driven in confined spaces.

Cons: Cant be driven outdoors not unless you find a super smooth parking lot. (Forget off-road)

When it comes to the Micro t think of it...

RE: Best Electric Drifting Car?

Depends on your battery, motor, gearing, terrain, and how you drive. We could probably scratch off terrain becuase we know where your driving lol :)

RE: Team associated B44

The price aint half bad too. It's $325 off tower. I wonder how it'll hold up to Tamiya's TRF501X. [:-]

RE: good upgrade motor?

I second all the opinions above. It's a waste of time lol. If you want something cheap get a mini-t or a tamiya TL-01. Trust me, modding a nikko is a big waste of time ;)

RE: Bandit to Rustler conversion experiences?

Might be cheaper to just buy a rustler (less headache too). ;)

I'd look into buy a used rustler if you dont want pay for a new one. The only time I would see a conversion like this worth it if...

RE: Best Electric Drifting Car?

TT-01's arent really fast (~ 15mph on a silver can 540). But then again you dont need speed for drifting. Speed and drifting really dont mix well. With drifting it's all about control. All you need...

RE: Best Electric Drifting Car?

Yeah you really dont need more than a TT-01 for drifting. It's cheaper and will do the job. TC4's and TC5's are meant for racing more than anything else. Maybe you should look into yokomo's.
