Flite Metal on Floats

Has anybody ever covered floats with flite metal? The only problem I could see would be durability, but with just water that shouldnt be a problem right? It sure would look good.

I just spend 40 min watching that and it was well worth it. It is really neat to see how a little thinking and planning can allow the assembly of a fighter in the field. Thanks for posting that.
