In all fairness to the r/c hobby, parts are still very expensive but over all the rest seem to be fair prices that all of us want to pay because we love this hobby of ours and we will spend the money...

Yes, but what about accessories like tires/rims/nitro engines and fuel cost?

Don't you think those items are ridiculously hiked up in price? Yea' sure you may get more for your money in a RTR...

I was wondering, I really never had any problems with using the stock am radio gear.

And I guess you need the fm and the new 900mhz gear for racing, but do you really need that new stuff?
