taking cost out the bigger birds does seem to do things slower so the timing is easier to control, some of today's smaller birds (3dhs, EF) fly very well then say 10 years ago smaller birds.....

hobby king sells a electric pump for about 10-12 bucks that's made for gas and u can use a battery that is on its last leg to power the pump.

maybe his carb is made of some material that the gas is eating away at
the fuel stopper is labeled wrong

did you adjust the needles to see if they are at least at the factory settings (adjustments will still need to be made once its up and running) is your fuel line of a color were u can see the fuel...

in the past i adjusted my low by removing the glow and the engine did not drop in rpm, when ever my low was to rich it would die when i removed the glow..... but i am not glow expert just sharing...

I ran both glow OS -91 and gas on mine and I can't say a lot of good about this plane. Its lands slow mine would not do the blenders well. you can do a wall, t-roll but by today's standard get...

i have that in most of my birds (Aerotrend) i think its harder to find now a days as word on the streets says its not being sold but maybe u can get it on a side street:)
