Well I wish you good luck I purchased mine in march 2006 without going into to much detail my T-Max was a much better purchase what a truck and it is now two years old and still running strong.

David keep us posted on the status of your warhead like I said the first runs were bad a lot of trucks were returned to tower hobbies for a refund but I decided to keep mine.I have it back in the box...

I forgot to let you know I never opened the tranny due to the fact it was only one week old when it was returned but when I got it back just pulled out of driveway and it just quit.

You are probably right about the tank issue but this truck was never bashed just drove around on pavement. As far as other duratrax products they are great. I will give Hobby Services and send it...

I hope they fixed all the problems from the first run because they are junk. Motor would over heat to boiling when down to half tank. It would run very rich until half tank they replaced motor same...

Rember your gyro eats lots of current mine is a gy-401 with 9254 feel your servo after your next flight and see how hot it is from constant working.

the original warhead had way too many isues. i still have it in the box hasnt been ran in a year. 2 tranny's and 2 motors. within a hour of getting the third tranny it took a crap too.

hi tec 635 servo in a 50

chiefs is offering these servos(hi-tec 635's 69oz.) as part of a combo deal for a titan 50 are they sufficent for a beginner pilot. there wont be any 3d stuff i'll just be learning the basics on them.
