Ok guys, big time question for ya! I've got a Quark on order, should be here this upcoming Wednesday. I've had 3 quarks in the past and ended up selling them all due to an annoying and very...

RE: MSR out of balance...

Sounds to me like you're describing TBE (toilet bowl effect).
First thing to check is your blade tightness within the blade grips. Tighten or loosen them so that they stay "fixed" when you tilt the...

RE: Hirobo SRB Quark

I hope the rumor that's floating around my LHS isn't accurate, but they say The Quark won't be in the US until mid to late April. You know what that means, we'll be lucky to see it here by May! [:o]

RE: B400 or HIROBO SRB QUARK

Be careful!!! I was all set to buy a B400 last month, then I read the 400 owner's thread over on rcgroups.com and decided against it. Too many problems with weak servos and inadequate gyro,...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Yes, the newer version 4in1 is more durable and less apt to fry a chip in a crash. It's twice as thick as the old 4in1 (foam padding inserts for protection). Why not just add $40 dollars more or less...

RE: Esky Lama V3

I also own a BCX2 but still adhere to the above practice. Seems that resetting the 4in1 as the gyro and motors warm up towards actual operating temperature helps to stablize your flight.

RE: Esky Lama V3

First thing you want to do when you first lift off with a fresh battery is immediately note which way your yaw is. Land and make proportional screw (on the 4in1) adjustment accordingly. What you are...

RE: Esky Lama V3

Hey vega2614,

You more than likely have checked this out thoroughly, but thought I'd mention it anyway. I have read on more than one occasion of Lamas just going haywire for no apparent reason....

OK, I stand to be corrected, and so do you...........in a 'clash' the flybar makes contact with the "lower" blades, the...

RE: Esky Lama V3

OK fellas, it's been a while since I have been on this site, but here's the scoop. Your flybar WILL NOT just decide to take flight on it's own! What occured to you was the infamous "death roll" of...

RE: BCX2 Blade tracking help!

I am assuming that since you changed your lower blades out that you made sure that the blade pins weren't broken.
The next thing to check for is to insure that there is no vertical movement in...

RE: Inner shaft on cx2

You should be seeing two screws that screw into the aluminum collar that holds the inner shaft and gear in place. Remove those screws pull up gently but firmly on that inner shaft hub and she'll pull...

RE: Blade CX-2

TBE (Tolilet Bowl Effect), like stated previously in this thread, is mainly due to improperly tracking AND/OR unbalanced upper blades. It is also very important to have a near perfectly straight...

Also, if you're getting what they call the toilet bowl effect, make sure your upper blades are balanced and tracking properly. AND insure you have a near perfectly straight flybar that will bounce up...

RE: E-flite Blade CX2 Trim Problem

Since you replaced the lower blades, I am assuming that the rotor head pins that those blades fit into are not broken off!?
Check your swashplate, maybe it separated. If so, squeeze it back...
