They are fairly common in cameras, etc. I have seen them at Wal Mart, Home Depot, Walgreen's, etc.

I glassed the same GP 40 size floats and had great results. If you need other options for epoxy, I always use West System. They also have a series of fillers, fairing compounds, etc that mix in well.

I have a 700 mha Transmitter and receiver battery and a 5 cell, 2700 mah battery that feeds the jib winch and the main winch. That will usually last for a few hours, depending on the wind.

My uncle does the same thing with his racing boats (don't know which one). It keeps everything watertight while saving weight. Works well, but I couldn't tell you exactly how he does it.
