I don't think the CNC upgrades will act much different then the plastic in the wind. If you're fly well without wind you should be able to fly in light wind, say 10mph or so, anything higher might...

I all ready have one. Had it since last August 06. Flies great. Haven't and any problems except pilot errors when I first started. I have CNC upgrades but have not installed them yet....

I'm thinking of ordering the Blade 400 3d, comes with the new DX6i, and order another 6200 receiver for the Falcon 3D and use the radio for both birds. The DX6i is suppost to be closer to the DX7 but...

I forget who it was, but someone did trim the root of the 315 blades and it worked great. It was a few pages back. I'm going to do that with mine because they do over lap with the tail...

If you use a simulator, on mine, it's always in 3D mode. So if you don't panic it shoulded be a real problem. I have idled up, then switched it to 3d while still on the ground, it didn't seem to...

I'm thinkin a little bigger, maybe a hurrican or Trex 600, I think the trex is better buy for the quality, I have a Eclipes 7 for the radio, and can get the bird RTF for around $700...

Just cut the little tabs off the side of the battery case, then they will fit fine.

Looks like the bearing might of froze up on the shaft and spun, melting the casing.

Make sure the gear on the tail shaft is not loose. If you ever change it you should CA it back on or it could spin free.

I found that if mine is in the 3d mode at power up it will not initailize and you have to unplug the battery switch it to normal and start over.
