Wing Tubes?

Also at site I mentioned before there's a 30"x7/8" Gator R/C wing tube available and it weighs 4 ozs if you're looking for something lighter and smaller.

Mike

Wing Tubes?

Wing Tubes?

You can get Gator R/Cwing tubes from www.centralhobbies.com. Don't know if they're the cheapest but the wing tubes are nice.

Wing Tubes?

A 36"x1" aluminum wing tube from Gator R/C weighs <6 ozs or .166 oz per inch. If you're worried about an additional 1.3 ozs then go 24".

Wing Tubes?

My 27% CAP with a similar wing build is about 36%. In other words a 3 ft wing tube should be fine for your plane.

BME 50 or 3.2 Brison for CAP 232 Lanier?

Not really, other than pinning the firewall with bamboo toothpicks and putting a top plate on the engine box. To reduce weight I put large lightening holes in the engine box and smaller ones...
