The gap is about 1/4" to 3/8" when the tool is in place, just enough so you can squeeze it to get it in place. This is one thing I didn't metion at the top but the 3/4" cut out when making this tool...

I have done replacement several times with this tool and it holds the liner in place very nice, never any bumps or high spots.
They look like factory new when done. Email or post if you have any...

I think you said you have a header tank, Right? Some time back I was reading Barracudahockeys post about plastic slag in the nipple of the header tank and this was causing his heli to run strange...

I do have the BEC and battery that came with the stock kit but I was planning to do as Hennesseylord suggested and use the Ultimate BEC, Just wasn't sure if the middle wire was active or if it needed...

Raptor 90 Se first flight

Flew my 90 SE fo the first time today, What a machine!!!!! It has a OS 91 C-Spec, TT 710 blades JR 8311 servos and a 401/9254 gyro
Looking forward to many great flying sessions with this heli.

I also needed some. I checked with Heliproz and they told me that Miniature Aircraft uses those same Eclips on their helis and Heliproz has them. Hope this helps.

I have a YS .61 STII in a Raptor and it is a great running motor, once it is running it doesn't die at idle, powers up smooth, and makes great power. I don't think you will go wrong with a YS!

Engine cleaning

Just a quick note, I tried the Dawn Power Dissolver cleaner that was in the last Model Aviation (Dec 2006) on page 100 and that stuff works GREAT!!! I got it at Walmart

Went to work on the Raptor and this is what I did.....I took the belt off the drive end and ran up the heli, Smooth as can be...(The experts were right, it was in the belt) as I was sure it was in...

when it does this it causes a momentary stopage in the tailrotor. It only does this at low RPM....about 50-200 RPM As it speeds up, it goes away

I have the belt tight, I will check the cogs on the belt to see if they are rounded.
