RE: Neatest & cleanest method to mount float servo?

RE: Neatest & cleanest method to mount float servo?

Nony,

Thanks for the reply and observations. I considered the same thing, however, the Proctor pulleys are deep-cut and the turnbuckles create sufficient tautness in the cables to minimize that...

RE: Neatest & cleanest method to mount float servo?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I ended up using a composite of several ideas. I used some Proctor pulleys and control rigging wire to rig from the float to a tiller bar I made from brass...

RE: Scandalous bipe?

I would be greatly interested in a Stylus upgrade, but only if they offer support for the 50Mhz band. A former Airtronics user, I moved on when the company seemed to stagnate. Now I have a sizable...

RE: Sig 1/5 Cub. Which Floats?

Are you fellows planning to attend the KCRC Fall Float Fly? I don't think the date has been established yet, but the weather will likely be far better.

The Planefunfloats are great, I'll...

RE: Cordless, spring-driven, wind-up starter

Thanks to all for the good info (& humor). I had thought I had migrated to electrics and sold my field box. What I am finding is that I want to keep some glow models around, as it is prohibitively...

Cordless, spring-driven, wind-up starter

Anyone have any experience with the cordless, spring-driven, wind-up starter that was advertised a few years back? Did they work well and are they still available?

RE: Hardware for camera turret

Just in case anyone's interested, I have a NIB Airtronics 94739 servo I'll never use. I bought it for a project I never finished. I'll let it go for $50 shipped.

Airtronics high-end demise?

Unless you have been in the hobby less than ten years, most of you know that Airtronics was once considered a premium brand, producing some high-end radios far ahead of their time. The Vision and...
