This is a absolutly bone stock Zenoah, right?
With a tune pipe and maybe a "light prop" turning good rpm?

Would say heat siezure of the piston.
If the top of it have been turned down this...

Looks good. That should tak care of the air flow. Very nice boat and set up.
Be prepared to lift the strut atleast 3/4" above the bottom.

OK,
If the hull weigh 30 pounds then the QD option would be lacking torque that`s for sure.
But i am interested in hearing from Bompi what the bare hull actually weigh.
My guess for the weight...

I dont have a lot of experience with it. But i have been running the QD in my Conquest cat this summer and it is a realy strong running motor it is also very easy to setup and adjust.

I would go for 2xQD25HT (15,5HP) Less weight and only two pipes.
Smaller, cheaper and more common prop choices. Easier to tune, higher rpm.

My second choice would be 2xinline...

Here is a link to my Conquest. It ran 62mph fourth time on the water. I was no even setup for max speed.

I have heard that the QD 25 HT and the AM Conquest is a good combination. It is suppose to be a 70+mph combination with the right prop.
If not i guess i am in for some trouble as i am building one...

Just want to post some pictures of my home made deep vee.
Everything is my own design and made from scratch.
The boat is 171cm (67") long, 49cm (19") wide and weigh 5,1 Kg (11,2 ib)...
