Deadstick...Prop was a 12-6...Had plenty of speed down the run way ..It llifted of by its self ..But belive me ..I have been flying for 30 years and a 46 on this plane just will get you in trouble...

Well I flew it last monday ...RIGHT IN THE GROUND....Dont try and fly this HAY-RACK with a 46 ...Just not enough power..it tip stalled on take off .Had full power CG was right on ..But not enough...

I know Own a Body Shop ...But if you can Have a Paint shop in Greece Put a Good quality Clear coat on your Cowling and wheel pants ..Use auto paint Like Glaserite PPGA good poly clear coat will...

I own a Body Shop ..The Red was color tinted by my painter..As for the cowling ..Dont put any tape on it or any other part of the plane ..It will pull the color Right Now...I will be right back with...

Well I have the Wheelpants painted ..and the white is gone , in place is the cream color as shood be ..Trouble is ,, you need to own a body shop to get the color tint and paint with Base coat...

I bought some new spring steel wire for the wheels ..Had to bend new gear and didnt make them as high ..So the cuffs will fit in too the wheel pants ...Glassed the cuffs and pants ..Now getting ready...

Tom, Now im backed up about a week ...I fired the Red Lion up and ran a tank through it..as the landing gear just TURNED TO JUNK from the shaking ...Got pissed and pulled the gear off and started...

Onewood, I see you have a 70 four banger..I had a OS SF 46 like new laying around ..So that is my set up ..but the battery had to go on top of the engine firewall...I figured I would use this engine...

That is good news..I really like the looks of mine..But also the wheel pants are Minkey Mouse...I will fly it first then if i really like it ..I will remove the wheel pants ang glass them with light...

Got this Hay-Rack all done..As soon as this Wind clears out of Florida I will put it in the sky ...It toped out at 5.7 Lbs dry..CG is on the money by moving the battery forward ..Will be back ....Rich
