Hi Ian.

I beleive the correct voltage to the receiver should be 4.8 volts from the ESC. That is the way mine is set up.

I beleive that you can make an extension cable that will do the job.....Hope this helps.........:)......You will need to have the wright connectors for this............[8D]

What size is the aircraft. That would determain what motor and battery pack to use.
