I have not done detailing myself on monocoat however from what others have done I've seen marker lines and dots to represent panel lines and rivets. Also some people have done very well...

cowl measurments as follows. From top to bottom aft of cowl 91/4 inch.
From side to side center of aft cowl 7 inchs.
From front center to aft center of cowl 7 inchs.

Just got my p-47 arf as well and Ill second the finish. Looks great, no bubles or wrinkles. Flaps and ailerons are pre installed. But the shipping was rough and the rear end of the right side oil...
