I am in the process of buying a Multiplex minimag and have a few questions:

1. Does anyone know what the gliding capabilities are?
2. How does one use CA and kicker? Does the kicker go on...

RE: Which servos

In addition to my previous answer, if I use my 55's what is the best way to connect them to the servo retainers. I would have thought that there should be some sort of rubber washery thing between...

Which servos

Hi, Could anyone please give me some advice on which servos to use with a Slow Stick? I have two Multiplex MPX-Tiny-S and two Hitec HS-55 servos.

Thanks

RE: Glueing points

Hatty, the reason I haven't considered epoxy glue is that everywhere I read in the forums I am told to use CA glue only as epoxy does not work well with the Multiplex foam. I must confess that I...

RE: Portable power stations

Thanks, I have just purchased one for £24.99 (about $50). This also starts cars with flat batteries and pumps up tyres. I charged one of my batteries (8.2V, 1000mAh) battery with no problems. (I am...

Portable power stations

Hi, has anyone tried to charge batteries using one of those rechargeable power stations, you know, the ones that will start your car if you have a flat battery?

RE: Glueing points

Thanks for that but doesn't it make it quite difficult to join the two halves together? I mean as soon as they touch that's it, no second chance if you get it wrong. That is what concerns me.

Glueing points

Hi, when glueing the two halves of the EasyStar fuselage together, is it only necessary to glue the 'plug & hole' points or the complete length? I have never built one of these foam type planes...

Motor timing?

Hi,
Yet another question. I found a thread on another forum which mentions timing the Permax 400 motor. What does this mean? I include a copy of part of the thread.

The Permax 400 supplied...

Hi,
I have three questions:

1. This is probably a stupid question but as the prop on the EasyStar is rear mounted which should it rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise when looking towards the...

Which servo's

Hi,
I have an Multiplex EasyStar but have no servos as yet. The manual suggests the Mutiplex Tiny S UNI but I read somewhere that the Hitec HS-81 would also be suitable (and about £3 cheaper)....

Charging Nicads

Hi, I have a Futaba 4EX transmitter which has a 9.6V 700mAh battery pack hard wired in. The instructions state that when the battery voltage falls to 8.5V it has to be recharged. This means that I...
