The pilot is from Nick Ziroli Plans, sorry about your ordeal, that really could have been much worse. I have 4 small screws and two pins holding the canopy on and it has worked great so far.

Thank you, I am a member of the Skyhawks and fly in Eastport. We have a Warbird meet every June and all giant scale warbirds are welcome, if you get some flights on your P-51 you should bring it out....

Canuck1, you can get servo mounts from BVM Jets that work great for this application because you can screw in from the top and permanently mount the stabs. I can send a pic tonight if you would like....
